How to connect the Hondash scanner to a 5-pin diagnostic connector

You can connect the Hondash scanner to a 5-pin diagnostic connector using 3 separate wires.

To make a set of 3 wires you need following:

• automotive terminals:
  
  • 3x male terminal (DJ611-2.2A) for connector side
  • 3x female terminal (DJ621-2.2A) for scanner side
  (You can source the terminals on Aliexpress or our e-shop)
• 3x wire
• electrical tape or heat shrink tubes for wrapping the assembled terminals and preventing electric shorts
• pliers for crimping the wires

Please keep in mind the 5-pin connector must contain a communication wire, otherwise it will not work!
